This Privacy Policy explains how Carrowmont approaches personal information, calculator inputs, website usage information and other data associated with use of the platform.
Your financial information
The numbers you enter into Carrowmont calculators are used to calculate your results. Carrowmont does not use those financial values for advertising, profiling or website analytics.
Calculator data and local processing
Carrowmont’s current calculators run in your browser. Some tools may store preferences or saved-plan information locally on your device so the site can provide a more consistent experience. Unless a feature clearly tells you that information is being saved or synced to an account, calculator values are not uploaded to a Carrowmont account.
Country and currency preferences
The website may remember your selected country and currency in browser storage so that supported tools can provide a consistent experience.
Website analytics
Carrowmont uses privacy-focused, aggregate website analytics to understand site usage and performance. These analytics do not include the financial values you enter into calculators. Carrowmont currently uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for this purpose.
Site search
Words typed into Carrowmont search are matched in your browser against a same-origin Carrowmont content index. In the current version, those words are not added to the page URL, are not saved as search history, are not included in website analytics and are not sent to an external search provider.
Accounts and saved financial information
Carrowmont’s core calculators currently do not require an account. If optional accounts, cloud saving or synced plans are introduced, the feature will explain what information is stored and why before you choose to use it.
Communications
If you contact Carrowmont by email, the information you send may be used to respond to your enquiry and maintain appropriate correspondence records.
Future services
If Carrowmont later introduces newsletters, payment services or other features that collect additional information, this policy will be updated to explain those practices before or when those features are introduced.
